Got Milk is a campaign created in 1993 with the purpose to promote cow's milk, so they decided to use artists from the music scene including Britney Spears in 1999. MTV Germany has a count of the artists who participated in the campaign.
Usher was at a german radio station called “1Live” on monday to promote his latest record. They’ve talked about his new album, his upcoming tour and he even got asked about a Britney or Lady gaga collaboration! Here’s what he said: “The Lady Gaga and Britney collaboration is going to happen. I don’t know exactly when but I guess next year. I talked to Britney about that earlier, I’ve alot of ideas, we just didn’t had the time to implement it yet.”
The producer helped Madonna score a string of hits when he worked with the Queen of Pop on her Ray of Light record and now Brit is hoping for similar success by enlisting his services.
Revealing the news is Spears’ A&R, Teresa Whites, who wrote on Twitter : “Some HUGE news guys! William Orbit is officially writing and working on Britney’s new album. For those who don’t know he did alot of Madonna’s Ray Of Light.”
Although that message has since been removed from the site and replaced with a new Tweet that reads : “Hey @WilliamOrbit ..hope you and Alan made it home safely! come back to Texas soon…we’ll have the plane ready! (sic)”
Others working on Britney’s new album (out in 2011), include Sean Garrett – who says the record “could get freaky” – while Glee creator Ryan Murphy heard some of the pop star’s new songs recently, which he described as being a return to her dance roots.
